Once dubbed the Eighth Wonder of the World when it was first built in 1882 in just 94 days and was the highest railroad viaduct in the world at that time, the Kinzua Viaduct is an incredible feat of engineering located in the town of Mount Jewett within the northcentral wilderness of the Pennsylvania Wilds. After closing to all traffic in 2002 following a thorough inspection, an F1 tornado ripped 11 viaduct towers from their bases in 2003. Today, visitors from across the world travel to Kinzua Bridge State Park to traverse a reinvented Kinzua Skywalk that rose about 225 feet from the ruins of the viaduct as a marvelous tribute to an innovative and historic endeavor that has survived the test of time and nature. If you want a cooler clothing option after surviving the hike to the bottom of the valley on a warm day, this shirt works perfectly as a souvenir of your visit, paying homage to this historic structure and marking your survival of the skywalk's massive height!
This design is also available in adult sweatshirt, short sleeve adult, ladies, and youth sizes.
4.0 oz.; 60/40 combed, ring-spun cotton/poly; lightweight cotton/poly jersey; self-fabric neckline and armholes; and tear-away label.
