In the town of Mount Jewett, deep within the northcentral wilderness of the Pennsylvania Wilds lies a monument to the past. A feat of engineering some have dubbed the Eighth Wonder of the World, the Kinzua Viaduct was the highest railroad viaduct in the world when it was first built in 1882. After closing to all traffic in 2002 following a thorough inspection, mother nature stretched her muscles to show man her true might. During restoration of the viaduct, an F1 tornado ripped 11 towers from their bases in 2003. But from the ruins, a reinvented Kinzua Skywalk rose about 225 feet above the Kinzua Creek valley, and today, visitors from across the world travel to Kinzua Bridge State Park to traverse this marvelous tribute to an innovative and historic endeavor that has survived the test of time and nature. If you are looking for a way to remember this incredible park, to pay homage to this historic structure, or to celebrate braving the height of the skywalk, this is the shirt for you!
