Dark Skies

When we say “the galaxy is just the beginning” here in the Dark Skies landscape, we mean it. Living in a landscape named in honor of its world-famous Dark Sky Park has its own creative perks. Our night skies are awe-inspiring and mesmerizing. They’re made possible by our small towns, mountainous terrain and low population here in the north-central part of the Wilds. The beauty of our rural landscape is a dream come true for the creative mind, and it is often reflected in our work.

We recently transitioned from an online gift shop to a maker marketplace. This means that instead of only selling products from PA Wilds Conservation Shops, various artisans and craftspeople from the PA Wilds now sell on our platform with us! (That’s why it’s now the PA Wilds Marketplace!)  This equates to more awesome products for you and more opportunities for our rural makers.
