Tracks Across the Sky - DVD
When history comes to life, people are sure to notice!
As a symbol of American ingenuity and pride of the Pennsylvania Wilds, the Kinzua Bridge is a valuable engineering treasure that stands as a testament to achieving the impossible and thinking the unthinkable! Constructed using iron in 1882, over 100 workers dedicated their hearts and souls to fulfilling the vision of General Thomas L. Kane. The Kinzua Bridge was even completed a year before the completion of the Brooklyn Bridge! As for you, you can keep the history of the Kinzua Bridge alive by bringing home the Tracks Across the Sky DVD! History certainly comes to life as you travel back in time to watch the entire history of the bridge from it's foundation in 1882 to the construction of the Kinzua Skywalk. Work alongside the workers as they assemble the bridge piece-by-piece. Celebrate with General Kane as he turns his dream into a reality. Mourn when the bridge is partly destroyed by a tornado. Rejoice when the remnants are repaired into a skywalk for all to enjoy! Distributed by Forest Press, a non-profit multimedia company, this DVD is an excellent resource for teachers, history buffs, people who have familial ties to the Kinzua Bridge, and for all who wish to share their love for this spectacular monument!
