This Wee Beastie might seem like more beast than cuddly plush doll, but these creatures are rather docile.  The official state amphibian of Pennsylvania -- dubbed so to raise awareness about its endangered status -- the hellbender is a giant salamander native to swiftly moving streams and rivers in Pennsylvania and the larger Appalachian region.  This life-sized plush version matches the size of the real-life hellbender, which is the third largest salamander in the world with a mature hellbender measuring in excess of 24 inches.  Relatively unchanged in the last 65 million years, the hellbender can live up to 50 years.  So whether you're looking to raise awareness about this endangered treasure or searching for a cuddly beastie for your young one, this hellbender Wee Beastie makes the perfect gift!

Product Features

  • Measures approximately 24 inches long
  • Chocolate brown faux suede "skin" made of polyester microsuede
